About the Role
As a Visitor Experience Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional visitor services at our Wildlife Wonders Visitor Centre, complete with a café and a gift shop that showcase local products. Your mission is to warmly welcome all visitors to Wildlife Wonders and provide outstanding customer service, encompassing ticketing, hospitality, retail, and various tourism services
About You
This role will suit a person who is flexible, proactive and motivated, with a positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where delivering outstanding visitor experiences is at the core of what you do. Knowledge of the Otways region and previous experience in customer facing roles is preferred, but not essential. About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced cook to prepare a simple, wholesome menu showcasing local produce, and to collaborate with the Wildlife Wonders team to deliver an outstanding visitor experience.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a passion for good food, sustainability and local produce, exceptional communication skills and an ability to work as a team to deliver outstanding visitor experiences. This position requires a ‘hands on approach’ to the day-to-day operations as well as strong leadership and time management skills.
Reporting to the Wildlife Wonders Cafe Manager and Co-Managers, this role will suit a person who is looking for an exciting career opportunity to apply their culinary skills and experience, and to work as part of a team to create a legacy for conservation and the community. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a small and dedicated team in a fast-paced environment and will be ready to roll up their sleeves and get things done.

As a Café Attendant, you will be responsible for food and beverage service, including coffee preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure an outstanding ecotourism experience. Your commitment to upholding workplace safety and facilitating compliance with café operations will help us maintain industry-leading standards.
