It is highly recommended that you book in advance. Our tours can sell out so we recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment, or a long wait when you arrive.
We suggest you aim to arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of your tour. The Great Ocean Road is often busy, and your trip can take longer than you anticipate. If you are running late, we recommend calling ahead so we are able to discuss options with you (ph 1300 099 467). We’ll try our best to get you on the next available tour but we cannot guarantee that this will be possible.
Your gift voucher or promotional code can be redeemed at the online checkout by following the steps from the Book Now button.
When you make a booking with us online, our system will automatically send you a booking confirmation to the email address you entered. If you haven't received it, we recommend firstly checking your Junk Mail as they can sometimes default there. If you still cannot find the confirmation, please get in touch with our team and be sure to include your full name, email address, tour date and time and the booking reference if you have it.
No. The Wildlife Wonders tours are guided - joining our conservationist guides means that you will see and learn so much more. If you are visiting Wildlife Wonders with a group but are not planning to join the tour you will be able to enjoy the cafe, visitor centre and gift shop while you wait.
The Wildlife Wonders experience is a 1.4km, 75minute guided tour along a gently sloping and meandering path. We recommend wearing comfortable, enclosed walking shoes and checking the weather forecast before you visit. In summer, it may be quite hot, so we recommend you bring sunscreen and wear a hat. In winter, it may be cold, windy and rainy, so we recommend a warm jacket. It can rain at any time of the year in the Otways, so it’s best to be prepared with a rainproof jacket.
Yes, our tours run in almost all weather conditions and the bush is beautiful in the rain. However, we do reserve the right to reschedule your tour if extreme weather threatens your safety.
The walk is 1.4km and takes just over an hour. The path is formed with a gentle gradient which can be managed by sturdy prams and wheelchairs.
You are welcome to take photos and video on the tour and we encourage you to share your experience with us and others using the handle @wildlifewondersaus and #wildotways. Flash photography and drones are not permitted as they disturb the wildlife. Please note that there is limited time for detailed photography on scheduled tours. For a dedicated photography tour please contact us directly to make arrangements.
Refer to the directions on our Getting Here page.
