Join a guided tour along a gentle 1.4km path through tree fern gullies and eucalypt woodland, where koalas, kangaroos, emus and more roam as they would in the wild. A predator-proof fence protects the Sanctuary, so you see the bush as it should be - full of life.

About the Walk with Wildlife Tour
On your tour, your Nature Guide will share with you the secrets of the bush and the native plants and animals of that call the Sanctuary home.
The Sanctuary is protected by a fox and cat proof fence, so it is free from feral predators. This means you’ll be able to see beautiful Australian animals living, behaving and foraging freely in a thriving natural ecosystem that simply can’t be found anywhere else.
Each nature tour will be a unique experience. It’s almost certain you will see koalas, kangaroos and emus, but you might also be lucky enough to spot a potoroo, bandicoot, echidna and many other amazing Australian animals and birds living in their natural habitats.

Wildlife Wonders is home to koalas, eastern grey kangaroos, emus, swamp wallabies, red-shouldered wallabies, long-nosed potoroos, echidnas, a whole array of native birds and so, so many more. The Sanctuary is surrounded by a predator proof fence and being a sanctuary, the animals live freely. There are no enclosures here. For this reason, we can’t guarantee which animals you will see on your tour but we do know that every tour experience is a completely unique one.

No. At Wildlife Wonders the animals roam freely within the Sanctuary, so for the safety of the animals and their homes, the only way to experience the Sanctuary is one of our guided tours.

Yes! We recommend our Walk with Wildlife for young kids. They will love using their binoculars (provided for loan to everyone on the tour) to look for koalas in treetops or for kangaroos grazing in the grasslands, while learning about them in a fun and engaging way from the Nature Guide.
The walk is easy, even for little legs, and gives everyone plenty of time to stop and look around. The tour path is pram friendly for the even littler ones (and free for kids aged 3 and under).
