Emu Cafe at Wildlife Wonders is open to everyone, whether you are taking a tour of the Sanctuary or just popping in for a meal or coffee.

We are open every day for breakfast and lunch with our delicious, seasonal menu and daily specials available until 2.30pm, then coffee and sweet treats available until 3.30pm.

Coffee for a cause - our coffee story

Our unique house-blend coffee "The Wildside", is roasted locally by Hello Coffee and served exclusively here at Emu Cafe.

The Wildside supports wildlife conservation right across the chain of coffee production, from rehabilitating native birds in Brazil, where this single-origin coffee is grown, through to supporting conservation right here in the Otways, where it is roasted and served.

You can enjoy this delicious chocolatey blend while soaking up the atmosphere at Emu Cafe or grab a bag of beans to savour at home. You can also buy it online here.

All profits from Emu Cafe contribute to the conservation of unique Australian plants and animals across the Otways and beyond.

Seasonal and local produce

Our kitchen loves to use seasonal and local produce where they can and the menu is always changing with plenty on offer whether you're staying for a while, or taking something to go. Our sweet treats are made locally from our friends at Potoroo Pantry, and our special "The Wildside" coffee is also roasted locally from the great people over at Hello Coffee.

The atmosphere

Our courtyard out the front is dog friendly with plenty of room for the kids to run around or to catch the sunshine. Away from the busy street of Apollo Bay, it’s a tranquil, nature-filled space to enjoy your break.

Indoors offers plenty of seating and a large window looking out onto the lush Sanctuary with the odd visit from a curious emu or two, hence the name, Emu Cafe.

We’re open to the public,
so you can drop in any time.
