About the Dusk Discovery tour

As the sun sets over the hills, you’ll find that potoroos, bandicoots, pademelons and more are waking up in the Sanctuary and starting their active night of feeding and foraging. Your Nature Guide will help you listen and look for wildlife as they emerge for the evening.

On this small, more intimate tour, your Nature Guide will give you exclusive insights into the lives of some of the more elusive and rarely seen animals who call the sanctuary home, as well as the chance of spectacular sunset photo opportunities.

On this guided walk you will experience all the magic of what the Otways used to be, as the Sanctuary is protected by a fox and cat proof fence, so it is free from feral predators. This means you’ll be able to enjoy a thriving ecosystem that can’t be found elsewhere.

This is a unique wildlife experience.

This tour is limited to 14 people maximum per tour. The tour winds along a gentle, 1.4km path suitable for all ages and abilities. Light meal and a cold drink are included.
